OK Sooner Nira 'Sis' Smith wins Bobbie Breeze

Underworked Ericksen wore the yellow jersey for the whole party and won all 3 of game picks tonight. But, in the end he conceded the award to Nira 'Sis' Smith who selected the same winners with more points on the same games. Nice try Scott, maybe next year you won't choke on your point selections and know the point leader at the end of the night wins, not the leader at the beginning of the night.

For the first time in the awards history, the Bobbie Breeze award went to a non-Rocky Bowl party attendee. A vote was taken and it was determined that the award can be given to Rocky's sister. The post game presentation was done over the cell phone network. Another first ... The Rocky Bowl leads the nation in it's use of technology to manage it's contest ;)

Congratulations Sis. Display the trophy with pride in Oklahoma. Please send us a picture with the award and we will post in on the Rocky Bowl site.

Good luck to everyone the rest of the way. We'll start tracking who is on pace to take home the Rocky Bowl Toilet seat award. It's gonna be fun!!!! Keep watchin and keep posting commenst. It's great to hear what you have to say!!!!

A quick analysis of the those who give high point values to those games involved in the Bobby Breeze Award... they are:

PTS... PLACE..Playa
297... 16.....Coach Goodman
289... 02.....Cousin Gary
276... 03....."Wrong Way" Wright
264... 04.....Underworked Ericksen
252... 01.....Nira "Sis" Smith

The top 5 "Front Loaders" finished 1, 2, 3, 4, and 16th for the Bobby Breeze award. However, it also shows that while Nira "do over" Smith was the lowest Front Loader, she finished First in this 3K marathon.

That goes to show ya that you can front load all you want, but if you can't pick winners (i.e. Coach Goodman), all your Jedi tricks won't get you that Golden Fleece.

Congrats to Sis! Well done!

Holy Boise State Fiesta Bowl!!!

What an upset! Congrats to a fellow Midwesterner with Midwest Values ( Ed Gein, Charlie Starkweather ) in winning the half way award!

Of course, it is very much like claiming the shuffleboard championship on board the Titanic!

Knowing the cheapskates that actually make up the Commission for this fine Rocky Bowl Special, allow me to volunteer to personally deliver or mail a shirt when I journey down to Norman to watch Nebraska take on the Sooners(or later) this November, 2008.

Now onward to the the final gun sounds, which is only in 9 more days! And the NCAA says we can't have a playoff because it would take too much time......

Congrats to all!

I am very honored to have won the Bobbie Breeze award. I know she was a wonderful woman and I think she would be excited that a woman won.

I shall display the trophy right in front of my poster that reads, "All We Ever Needed To Know About Being A Champion We Learned At Oklahoma."

Shadow is very excited for me as she got lots of treats last night. She says that it is really a shame that the Commissioners won't let dogs play because she would NEVER, NEVER, NEVER have picked Boise State like I did. She also can't figure out what a Husky is if it isn't a dog.

Well, it's a long road ahead. Good luck to everyone.

Sis (I won something) Smith
